Mark & Britt McKinney
Tennis parents who turned their hardest lesson into the archive's most quoted rule. The McKinneys devoted an entire episode to the twenty minutes after a match ends — and changed how thousands of families think about the drive home.

Mark's recurring themes.
The car ride is not the place
The single most repeated rule in the archive. Twenty minutes after a match is the worst time and place for a tennis conversation — the parent's emotion, the kid's emotion, the small enclosed space, the captive audience.
Listen if they open it
Don't initiate. If the kid opens the door, the parent's job is to listen — not coach. The drive-home conversation becomes a relationship-builder once it's not extracted on schedule.
